Otto Addo Likely To Handle Black Stars For The WC Qualifier Against Super Eagle.
Otto Addo, the BVB Borrussia Dotmond scout is in the race to coach Black Stars of Ghana for our next Major International assignment.
It circulated weeks ago that GFA President Kurt E.S Okraku, Former player Tony Barfo and Michael Osekre have fly to Germany to poch Otto Addo who had recently got appointment as an assistant coach under the second coming of Milovan Rajivac.
Otto Addo and one Chris Hughton became the two Coaches in race with preference from GFA and Flagstaff House respectively.
On Asempa FM yesterday, Henry Asante Twum, The comm. Director of GFA stated emphatically that they ( GFA) need someone who knows the players to play Ghana’s WC Qualifier Against Nigeria in March, 2022. And it’s clear who knows the team amongst Hughton and Addo.
The GFA entourage mentioned above is still in Germany dealing with Dortmund and Otto Addo. But Otto Addo has accepted to come to Ghana only on three conditions.
1. That no one should interfere in his call ups or team selection.
2. The management should provide every logistics he’ll recommend for himself and the team.
3. That no one should over turn his decisions on any day.
And if GFA accepts these three conditions he’ll be seen on touch line in Ghana’s next assignments.
Otto Addo would be assisted by Tanko Ibrahim.
And that said appointment will announce on Tuesday or Wednesday.
