The 30 million Ghanaian populace is waiting for what will happen to GFA, coach Milovan Racjivac and the Sports ministry after Black Stars’ disgraceful performance in the ongoing 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
We confidently know that Coach Milo is on his exit door following a meeting that went on between GFA president Kurt Okraku and the Sports Ministry on Friday evening.
But, GFA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, who’s to hold them responsible? As the question of many Ghanaians.
But Hon. Johnson Kwaku Adu who is MP for Ahafo Ano South district in Ashanti Region and also the Chairman Of Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports has reveals Parliament’s interest in this matter.
Speaking on Light Fm this Saturday, he emphasized that Parliament will summon sports minister and the GFA on a crunch meeting on Tuesday on the floor of parliament on Black Stars abysmal performance in the AFCON 2021.
This means that Ghanaians will know the expenditure of Black Stars during the tournament. They’ll be able to know how these players were selected to the tournament and will also be clear on the way forward.
